Corepad Deskpads & Kiera white

We’re today having a look at some mousepads from Corepad. You might wonder what the differences is and all I can say is, one is big.. and the other is bigger! We also have a small, white one, a Kiera.

Today we’re looking at two Deskpads from Corepad, namely the XXXL and the XXXXL (four X) and also a medium sized white mousepad named Kiera. The two deskpads are gigantic mousepads meant to cover your desk more or less so you get a completely covered cloth desk.

A few years ago I reviewed a similar product, made by Boogie Bug which today unfortunately has gone under. While that might not be completely true as I have no real idea, I can say that their website is far from working and the last few products they posted was lipsticks and accessories that is out of the computer league.

Anyhow, they had a gigantic mousepad, much like the XXXL we’re having a look at today. It sure was great fun to test that and since then I’ve been looking for a replacement, the Corepad Deskpad XXXL might be one!

The XXXL comes just wrapped in thin plastic, no worries to get a cut on your fingers or hands here! The pad also has some specifications, which we will cut and paste directly from the Corepad website.

  • Great for low and high sensitivity mouse settings
  • Maximum precision for all mice
  • Non-slip rubber backing
  • Cleanable with a damp cloth
  • 900 x 450 x 3.0 mm / 35.40 x 17.70 x 0.1 in

Alright, so this mousepad is good both from low and high sensitivity mice, it has a non-slip rubber backing and the size is very much larger than a normal mousepad, which is the whole thing here. All the other specifications are such that you can find on other products, but the size is the key.

Also, cleanable with a damp cloth? What?! Well sure, you can probably clean it like that too, but from experience with the Boogie Bug pad, there’s no problem washing these pads in a washing machine either. Only once or twice though, but that will last its entire lifetime anyway.

I’m not recommending a washing machine, I’m just saying that it is possible and I’ve done it previously.

Ok, but we have yet another pad to have a look at, the Deskpad XXXXL from Corepad. This pad is very similar to the XXXL, in fact the only difference is actually only the size, have a look.

  • Great for low and high sensitivity mouse settings
  • Maximum precision for all mice
  • Non-slip rubber backing
  • Cleanable with a damp cloth
  • 1200 x 600 x 3.0 mm / 47.20 x 23.60 x 0.1 in

This beast is wider and taller, still with the same thickness. This pad is gigantic!

Next up we have some tests!
